If you look at the price of colognes and perfumes there has to be an incredible mark up and profit in them.

No he wasn't he makes a living copying the major colognes and perfumes and makes the same fragrances generically.

No doubt.  Unfortunately, there are many that aren't successful and go under.  Many failures are blamed on being under capitalized or PPP.  I think the saying I remember from one of my college classes was "If you fail to plan then you plan to fail".

Every business that comes into my office is sent to SCORE or the SBDC, because most of them are business Ideas and not business plans. I don't want to build a website for someone who is going to go under in 6 months.

I am a webmaster for SCORE and i was on the advisory Board for SBDC. They are good people looking to help small business.

They are fantastic at what they do and are a wealth of knowledge.  They are aware of the pitfalls in business and also how to be successful.  Anytime I hear about anyone thinking of going into business I send them to the local SBDC or SCORE office.

I had a 80 something year old accountant named Milton as a friend there. He would delve into any problems I had and come up with a solution. He had experience and time, and that's valuable.
