Another from our Blairgowrie trip, and the 4th of 5 flights on the sunny but windy Thursday, this time a short AIR3 flight at the Queen's View...

The high wind made flying here difficult, but there was just enough footage for a short video... I now have some ideas of options on how to fly the site next time that will perhaps provide a different perspective...

Thanks... not as far as I know... but the location of the Stone Circle from Outlander is not too far from there...

You're right. the one in Harry Potter was three lochs in Scotland blended to make the Hogwarts lake.

Thanks... definitely, but no one knows for sure whether it was named for Victoria or Isobel...

Lovely views. The trees don't appear to be moving much in the wind, but the surface of the water is the give-away to the conditions.

Yup, I think as they were still mainly leafless they weren't being moved much, but it was definitely tough and go on the windspeed for flying...

I was nearly blown into the trees with my Avata 2 this morning! Not good when learning to fly in full manual FPV too but didn't crash thanks to air brake/pause button!
