Certainly feel that way with the weather today. although Isee you are under an amber alert for rain and flooding,  were just yellow here.

Same here,    it stopped once and the sun come out long enough to tease and then the heavens opened again.      So I tackled that skirting thats niggling me.

It was a screw that was causing the issue,    removed and the surrounding area dug out and filled and the whole length sanded ready to paint.     I didnt paint as my knees had enough by then.
