Hello DJI fans,

I am the proud owner of Osmo Action 4 that I use to film my MTB rides in nature.
Last week, after reviewing the captured footage I noticed that the RockSteady stabilisation stopped working in the middle of the file.
After the ride, I stopped the camera and then turned it on for the next ride and it worked perfectly, also since, no issues.

It might have been a software glitch and I would like to contribute with the file for the engineering team.

Just let me know how and where to upload the file, since it is quite large, over 16GB.

Thanks and let me know if any of you experienced similar issues.

BFM Team

At 07:49 when you click on your helmet strap or something, you can hear something happening with the camera and Rocksteady is turned off after that.
I can also hear a sound buzz (or something)  So something have happend at that moment that made the stabilization turn off.

Have included that part for other to see (link only last 2 days)

Hello back,

The backpack buckle is the click, the buzzing is my jacket grinding and the other sound is my dog breathing. All these sounds happen a lot and no issues till then or thereafter.
I rather suspect the poor light... but it's just a guess...

I see, but the sound I refer to sound like a internal electric sound.

Hi, fans7e7cf6b4. Thank you for reaching patiently waiting. Our relevant team would like to request the camera log and the time and date to confirm this further.

How to export a Log File?
1. Reproduce the abnormal process.
2. Go to camera unit System Settings - Device Info. Tap “Export Logs”.
3. Mount the camera unit and front touchscreen module/power module. Connect to Osmo Action 4 in a computer using a USB cable.
4. Select “File Transfer” on the Osmo Action 4 screen. Go to “My Computer”. Find the corresponding disc for the Osmo Action 4 (internal storage).
5. Export all log files and zip them. Send the entire zip file back for analysis and confirmation (Also check the time point when the abnormality occurred to determine the log position).

Please keep us posted.
