I bet those two small yacht's skippers got a bit of a surprise  You've quickly gained confidence with the Avata2.

Im not sure, the guy in the blue sail boat didnt appear to notice at all.

Ive flown that avata 90km already would you believe.

Crikey! It'll be due for it's first service soon, at that rate

Im not sure what the service interval is,  but hopefully it's better than the Mini as its got less moving parts

I'm thinking of sending my Mini3Pro to Heliguy for a service. It's been almost 2 years.
And a couple of the props have got nicks in them. Easier for them to do, than me.
I'd probably make a mess of replacing them.

What else do they do for a service?

Nice ripping around DA.    I see you've achieved your need for speed.  For a second there I thought you were going to zip right through that boat's rigging.  Seems you've really got your confidence level up on this most recent flight.  Have you tried the MC3 yet?

The thought to zip through the rigging has crossed my mind,   but as I failed do zip through my own legs without hitting myself I thought better of it.    Had some issues with Gyroflow on that footage,  if anything is near the edges and you're tilting the drone over it gets cut out.

Possibly check the state of the gimbal and the motors. I shall ring up and ask.

If they tighten the legs I might be tempted too.

It's quite the thrill that little avata.   And I could go lower for sure.

I think it's about £100 including postage both ways. But I'd save the cost of buying that electric Wowstick you suggested, as I'd probably still make a ricket of it. Dexterity is no longer my thing

The downside is that it does SCREAM when flying like that,  but over the boat engines they dont appear to hear it.

Ive flown under there before,  but the Avata doesnt have the signal strength for it,   Im hitting red as I get to it,   going to ask the guy that owns the moorings if I can fly from his piers.

Just reading what they do also includes updating to the latest firmware.

Yes I would have expected that too. They did it for my Mini One when they replaced the cracked front leg.

It is,  but still loud possibly more for the pitch of the sounds with its little tiny 3" props.

Most didnt seem to notice.  But this FPV thing does turn you into a terrorist.
PS was the music to your liking.

I guess it's the price you pay for speed, agility and prop guards.

That and the power it puts out,  Ive never flown a drone that can climb and descend as fast as this thing.

I though the fail to get through the legs was lack of speed.  Now that you are a speed demon you should be able to pull it off.  You could get some of those hoops to practice on like I saw in Albion Drones video.

Good idea - takes the edge off of flying when you have permission

Not as powerful as most of the FPV kits you can build but a good beginners position I think.

I like the idea of hoops too,      Im sure there must be something that I have or can find to do that,  especially if its light weight.

It seemed like a fitting change,    the music is from a free YT channel called NEFFEX they have all sorts to choose from.

It looks like it would fit the bill for me. It probably makes for a great primer on FPVs.

No doubt you could DIY something very similar.  You just need a good "scrap" pile to pick various parts from.

I just noticed this morning that the local sports centre has put up hundred of small goal posts in their fields,  I may go over and check them out and make sure theres no nets in them.

Now that sounds like an FPV pilot's dream location.  Hopefully, they have no nets in them.
