Not the morning to catch sunrise....


Two car full of people were up at the Castle the other morning to watch sunrise,   sadly there wasnt one.

The foreground at least is appealing.

Appears to have been a good morning to sleep in. However, despite the gloomy looking clouds the rest of the shot is really nice.

thanks Downtown,    the last few  days before this it had been lovely sunrises so I guess they decided to give it a go and they ran out of luck.

I know people that dont even hear it,  but for me it's like the trigger for the hulk.

You're very welcome DA.  Sometimes  you get rewarded for your efforts and others time you don't.  Still, you have to at least try.  

Lot better than when I get no visible sunset, just harmless clouds

I tried this morning as it's the only day that is forecast to be dry,  saw lots of wildlife which was nice and maybe got a nice shot or two.

Sounds good.  Hopefully, some of the forecasts will prove wrong and you'll have a couple of non-rain days instead.

It's looking like the forecast for todays rain has moved, so Im hoping after a coffee morning with a friend that I might get the Avata out for a couple of runs.

Avata 2 batteries are back on charge.  I doubt I will find the time for one more flight though today.  And out Met office has just issued a yellow alert for thunder storms for us starting in a few hours,  so much for the weather clearing on the forecast this morning.

Amazing thunderstorm this morning,   full on rain and lightening.    Sunrise was cancelled,    not bad considering yesterday the rain on the forecast had cleared for a week and now it back.

You just can't catch a break with the weather.  Rained once in the last 10 days here so seems we are back to "normal" April/May type weather.
