Despite quite a few bad weather days in April the roundup turned out fantastic.    Lots of memorable shots.  It's going to be hard to pick your shot of the month for use on your annual calendar.

It's hard to believe that 2024 is already 1/3 done.  This year seems to be flying by.

Yes.  Id not thought about it that way.    But Ive certainly been trying to get the flying in.

I see your feet flown keeps climbing up so I know you are taking advantage of flying on fair weather days.

Actually mine seems broken.   I got all my controllers synced before I got the avata 2.  Since then I’ve synced 250km or more of logs and it just doesn’t go up any more .   I’ve maxed it out.

That is sad. I'll have to keep an eye on your feet flown and see if it moves over the next week or so.  How often do you sync up your data?  I never sync mine so my feet flown doesn't change but I do keep the data backed up on my 13TB hard drive.  In fact the only feet flow showing for me is when DJI had me sync data on my new Air 3 to get a warranty replacement.

It all depends,    I had to do my RC controller as the storage for the flight logs were full. . And with the goggles Ive been looking at the logs to see the message in airdata so Ive done that a few times this week.

Well, hang in there.  No doubt as the summer type weather gets closer for you I'm sure your feet flown will climb quickly.  Maybe by then extended batteries will be available for the Avata 2.

Well in Lou of a nice day Ive been flying the avata around the house instead,    stairs were interesting the first time,  the rain seems to have held off so I may take it down to the usual mud flats for a rip about. Erm  I mean practice.

  I think you had it right the first time (rip).  I've flown inside a warehouse and a large barn but can't recall ever flying inside.  Oh wait, the inside of my boat is too small to fly in.

I did fly my original Mini inside the boat but it had prop guards on.  None of my remaining drones have prop guards so  I'd have to be very careful.

Well the Avata has the prop guards built in and if you tap something with it,   you get a nice warning next time you fly to check the props arent damaged.

I guess it is good that it can sense it has "bumped" something and that you need to check the props.  I don't ever remember getting that warning on the Mini 1.

  I'm thinking late summer or early fall.  Just guessing on my part as only DJI knows when it will release Mini 5 Pro.

I guess they need to give people time to get bored with their avatars first,    and perhaps bored with a avata mini first too.

Very true but I'm thinking they are not going to let the market go cold for too long as they need a steady infusion of money coming in.
