First time posting on these forums...normally I just read At any rate. I have a new Avata 2. I was flying it about 800-900 feet away with perfect signal. The drone and goggles 3 were all working fine, then got a warning of overheating. The recording shows high wind warning when wind speeds were about 6 mph. After that it showed crash detected while 190 feet in the air with nothing around then lost GPS and crashed hard. It's 65 degrees F here and it was traveling about 15 mph...so I don't think it really overheated. Anyways...got the warning it overheated then it died and crashed hard.
Hi there. Sorry about what happened to your drone. We suggest sending the aircraft back to DJI after a crash to get it checked. You can submit a repair request here (https://www.dji.com/global/support). The warranty can be applied depending on the assessment's outcome, including your unit's warranty period.
