I want to fly 3 avata batteries,  but also get all the veg patch ready for planting and clean/polish the car.  Plus setup the week long Timelapse I have planned for the OP3.

It was quite pleasant yesterday if not a little windy,  but by late afternoon it was BBQ weather,  shame the temps still drop so fast in the early evening.

Just got to take advantage during the day of the nice weather.  When I was stationed up in Chicago I remember some of the days when the temperature would drop 40 degrees at night.

Got to go with your gut instincts on that call.  I love my BBQ so I'm pretty sure I'd uncover it and take a chance but then again that's just me.

I think I'll do the fountain first and then see how I feel.   I shut the fountain down for the winter and were rarely there to see it.

Tread carefully on terrorizing SWMBO.  She might get a bat and try to knock the Avata out of the air.

Ive now explained that it only has a camera a no microphone. but for my own safety I probably wont do that again when shes here.

I hear you on that.  However, wouldn't it be cool for other uses if it had a microphone or even a speaker on it?

Speaker could be fun,  but the mic would need some interest cancellation for the props sounds.

Did you see Mads Tech's live yesterday about the Avata 2 and how weak it is and how many are getting destroyed in crashes.    People are bolting all sorts to the bottom try and make them stronger.

I did.  I'd also ready many complaints about how plasticky the Avata 2 feels in comparison to the Avata 1.

I wonder if we will see a 3rd party CNC cut bottom shell for it made from aluminium or carbon fibre at some point.

I think carbon fiber would be the best way to go for more durability.

Yes,  and some chap already did a mod where it took carbon fibre rod,  drilled a hole at each end and fitted using one of the motor screws.
