120km already on the Avata 2, and loving every minute of it,    how are you all getting on with clocking up the flight distance?

Mine shows zero kms and zero flight hours. I have only had the opportunity to put one flight on my Avata 2 due to windy rainy weather. It still should have shown my first flight?

Have you plugged your goggles into your phone so that it can sync your distance.

By comparison, my drone's at 96 miles

You have to connect the Goggles 3 to your phone via USB, with Fly running, in order to upload the logs to your account.

I went for the DJI Goggles ruck sack and I have to say Im loving it,  and I can easily pop a mini drone and batteries in there too.

If you ever want to use Find my drone then you also have to do that first as the find my drone only works on the phone.

Wow you went all in.  I love the GPC cases but they are so overpriced.  $249 for the Avata 2.  I've been picking up the hard cases from FPVTosky for my Minis or Lykus for the original Avata,  For the Avata 2 I am leaning towards one of the choices below:

STARTRC Avata 2 Hard Case - $93.99

FPVTosky Semi-Hard Avata 2 Case - $59.99

IIRC, have flown 19 batteries.  But the DJI Fly app last recorded data when I was setting up the hardware. Did get around after my 8th battery to activate Sync on the app.  Thought needed to Sync to collect data and get rid of a glitch in the "Fine My Drone" feature.  Still no flight data.  Now I know why?

I probably should read the users Manuals from start to finish.

So technically right now the app shows 38 minutes, 3.32km, 5 flights.  Shortest flight  0km and 1 min. Longest flight 94 meters and 16 minutes.   Not very much for 19 batteries.

That would explain it!  It would be nice if you could setup a direct Wifi connection for the goggles that would sync flight records & check for updates directly.

Noticed on the iPhone, Setting>DJI Fly App>option to allow the app to access Local Network was not activated. Just activated it, but no request for network password.  Assuming connected.  Do have WiFi signal from where I usually set up the landing pad.   Completed the sync via USB cable.  Bit slow to download the flights not synced. My max upload speed in 750kbs and download speed is 8mbs.   Had the time.  Retired. Busy work done for the day.  Raining.

Sadly you need to connect with a cable to sync the logs.

Well, I like my GPC cases.  They are well built, cleverly designed, and honestly, it just feels better for me.  But that having been said, any case is better than no case.  I just feel more organized when I have a place for everything and everything it it's place.  : )

Actually I think it 294km but close enough,  and almost all of that was on the same day as mine cant seem to keep the date/time for more that a blink of the eye.

A few mentions here and Ive got DJI to confirm they know of an issue,  but when you script copying the last days of footage from the memory card it really messes you up,  and then for a second time editing.

It also doenst help the Avata as they use the newer naming convention,  so ranther than DJI_XXXX.mp4 they now get a name like DJI_20240510171851_0066_D.mp4

How? Just how do you find the time to fly so much? I think you've cloned yourself 3 or 4 times over! I'm retired, but cannot match anything like your time in the air.
