Just to share with you how I did use Mini 3 Pro with waypoints to create photogrammetry.
The final 3D Model is on link below.
https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ ... 0728725b3447e7c5f9b

I did 2 passes for different tilt angle, at 50 altitude, for a surface as 270.11 m (886.19 ft) X 139.20 m (456.70 ft).The overlapp is as on the picture, 80% x 60%.
You see last picture the capture from Google map.

Interesting use of mini 3 pro.
What did you use to for waypoint mission, litchi or dronelink app?

I did use Litchi Pilot for waypoints, as per first 2 capture images.

In fact I do the same thing as you but to avoid the hassle of making a grid I tighten the exteriors and I do a mapping on 4 angles: 0 - 90 -180 - 270 by modifying the CSV manually or with an excel macro that I made myself.

Not sure you get a good photogrammetry result using your proposed 4 bearings 0 - 90 -180 - 270. Do you have some photogrammetry results as mine to share?

Hey Cmarines, this is amazing. Care to share a more detailed summary of your methodology?

Sure!

For waypoints creation I did Mission Planner free application to create the grid of WP. Use Plan menu, then Auto WP / Survey Grid.
From Camera Config define the DJI Mini 3 Pro camera parameter (using a picture done with Mini 3). Devine the flight plan and the grid parameters (altitude, overlap, etc). Save it on Mission Planner, it will create a text document. Use the another free application "MissionPlannerToLitchi" and convert he text file to Litchi format. Using Litchi Pilot, import the WP created. Define the camera interval or distance to trigger the photos. Fly the WP plan with Litchi Pilot. Use a Photogrametry software to generate the 3D model, using the pictures you did obtain. Export to 3D model to a site which allow posting this model.

250 for this one, it varies from 150 to 300 depending on the size of the mapping.
I don't know in advance because I set Litchi or DJI Fly to 5s in RAW+JPG.

Hi Guys and girls I'm new to Photogrammetry, where can I learn the basics so I can understand how to set waypoints.
Let's start with a house in a field.  All help appreciated.  Stephen the surveyor
