I like the way they’ve cut the corner off the warehouse to fit the road in - nice pic

It's vast. How long before the semi-trailers are lining up along the dock to load and unload, I wonder.

They are planning construction until December. Right now that's all I know.

Great shot Charles.    Exterior construction looks almost finished.  No doubt the interior has lots of work yet to do.

That would be fun.

As big as that warehouse is it would make for a great place to fly on an inclement weather day; until they fill it up with goods that all the trucks will bring shortly after opening.

They did state that they want interior drone flights. I'm waiting for it.

No, not me.  I was referring to you with the "pick me, pick me" comment.  I bounced my Mini 1 (with prop guards) off the wall a few times and tried to fly under a table and crashed into that even.  I didn't have GPS inside where I was trying to fly  and I just couldn't master Atti mode of flying.

Yes tripod mode works best with prop guards. change your return to home to hover.

I'll give that a shot next time I'm in a building big enough to fly around.  Not really feasible to fly inside on my mini-yacht.

Not recommended. Commercial property is fun. Ask someone you know if they would like footage of their property.

Have fun. Use prop guards in case of magnetic interference. And hover on RTH so it doesn't fly into the ceiling.

I can't remember if you said where this warehouse is located.  As part of The Climate Mobilization Act, builders must incorporate green roofs or solar panel systems so New York City now requires sustainable roofs for new construction.   If outside the city limits I would guess it would be optional.  The federal Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA) provides tax credits for qualifying renewable energy systems, including solar, provided that the projects come online after December 31, 2022, and that construction begins before January 1, 2025.  So it might be in the builder's best financial interest to install them.

This is in Newark, NY. We will see. There is so much incentive for companies to go green that I would believe they will.

In this area I'm seeing more and more sustainable roofs being installed.  For a while solar installation was the hot commodity but that seems to have slowed down a bit.

We have a few corporate buildings doing that but it hasn't caught on yet here. Lot's of labor involved. Solar is one and done with rewards.

Yeah, I'm thinking solar is a quicker install alternative to live roof.  When I talked to a guy I know that works for State Farm Insurance he told me the premium increase is about the same whether you add solar panels or go live roof.

Very true.  However, on occasion you do have to make sure they are clean of pollen, etc or else their output will be slightly diminished.
