I always carry spare batteries but sometimes I just need to eek out a few more minutes flying but don't want to push it too far or have to come back and switch batteries for an addition 3-4 minutes of flying either.

As long as the views are 'not suspicious' (that probably means watching other channels as well) that should help indeed.

I know they are checking for several things to filter out 'suspicious' behavior.
I was banned once, losing all my adsense income for 2 months or so.
But the funny thing was, I complained since there was nothing I did wrong (apart from watching my own video's, which I'm allowed to do).
And after 2 months everything was back, but there was a new rule that stated it was not allowed to increase your own watch hours significantly or something like that.
But I think they now just filter them out, because I like to watch my own stuff and never got banned again.
