Spot on Blériot and one of the great things about the Mini3pro is that with the controller it is a fraction quicker to launch. With say the M2P you have to connect up the iPad or whatever and although it doesn't seem much it was often enough to lose the best shots.

Yeah. With any of the drones requiring a connection to a smartphone or tablet, that applies

When I first got the P2 I tried that. It looked like I was on a Pogo stick

Mine will probably be the same then,  I did try to get SWMBOd to try the ninja walk at the halloween parade but she didnt believe me until I found a how to video.

She did film some of the Halloween parade though and did a fairly good job.     I even got her to load the Mimo app last night so that I can teach her to operate it remotely.

I've just upgraded my phone, so I tried out Mimo with the Action2 and Pocket2 to be sure it was compatible.  Sorted now, but curiously, it only sees the P2 when the Do-it-All handle is connected.
I can't remember if that was always the case, but I generally have it connected permanently anyway for a better grip.

I thought on the P2 it was the DIY handle that added the Wifi/bluetooth connection.

Comfortable to hold, the DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle has a built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, wireless mic receiver, and 1/4" threaded hole. Connect it to the DJI Mimo app via Wi-Fi and you can control Pocket 2 from your smartphone.

A bit hurried, as there was only about a 5 minute break in the rain.
The drone came back down with a few drops of rain on it.

How much rain can these drone take. I was out the other day slight rain and could not come in as the shot was too good. The rain stopped so didn`t get too wet. all good.

I used to feel it every year, when I was working. Now, not so much.
And it only occurs when the clocks go back - never in the Spring when the clocks go forward.

Well I'm over it now but I really wish they would get the law passed to stay on daylight savings time permanently.

I wrote both of my elected officials to remind them that while running for office one of their many agendas was to get permanent daylight savings time enacted. I serious doubt the elected official will actually read the letter but more likely some low lever staffer than will send me a "canned" reply.
