Hand-held Garmin GPS I used for Geocaching. Yes, it went sailing off downhill from the side pocket of my rucksack, never to be seen again

I suspect that Garmin is very expensive too, What a bummer. sorry to hear that.

It was a setback - but my smartphone has a GPS App on it as well, luckily.

I've noticed when I go out to fly, I find myself rushing to get up and that's when I then lose things.
Two days ago it was only a glove this time.

I normaly try and get everything together the night before - and then it usually rains and it was all in vain

Oh..so true! We can attest to that experience, I usually prepare the night before for the RC planes since I keep my DJI  batteries always charged resulting in shorter battery lives.

Today, however, the weather remained suitable for a flight of the Mini3Pro. Managed a couple of panos of the town centre.

Well, that location is to the south of Buxton - about 15 miles from home.  But the terrain here is similar to that - just more houses
