Quick question, does the IPad ground station work with the vision 2 plus?  Im about to order it but I want to make sure since the phantom vision 2 plus already has built in ground station.

I might need to be a bit more specific, I mean the Bluetooth data link, I know the vision 2 plus has built in the ground station for iphone, but I want to know if the Datalink will work with it.

Can you provide any details for how to connect to it?  So far, I have not been able to make this happen on mine.  I just got it last week and the ipad refuses to find the phantom even when it's connected to wifi.

For the iPad / PC Ground station you need to add the Bluetooth hardware, it is not designed to work with the Vision or Vision + as it has its own version of ground station built into the smartphone app.

Well that stinks. How do you set waypoints in the app?  Everything I've tried has failed.  I can't get waypoints to set.

Try reading from section 7 page 42 of the latest manual, its all in there for free.
Sorry but its late here and too complicated to try and explain all the possible reasons why you cant do it...

It's all right. I don't think I made it that far yet. I'll mess with it tomorrow and see what happens.

Rivera albert,please try using the mobile device(ios 6.1 or above) to have a try, iphone 4s, 5, 5s, ipodtouch 4 and ipodtouch 5 are OK.
You can turn on the RC, range extender, the drone, open the phone wifi list, open the Phantom app, select the wifi starting Phantom, click "camera", slide the camera touchscreen to the left, then you will go to GS station.  In the GS, pilot can set waypoint, 16 waypoints  the most
