Assistant 2 does not seem to recognize my mavic.  It connected to the RC fine.  Haven't tried much upgraded through app but was hoping to see if anyone had any thoughts on what to try to get the mavic to connect as well.

Did you connect the Mavic to your PC with the same cable that you used to connect the RC?
Did you turn the Mavic on (after removing the gimbal clamp)?
Are you logged into the Assistant 2 software?

Hi Koia, please help to confirm the thing Jenee mentioned, and check if the computer recognizes the drone, if it doesn't not, please try to restart the drone, and change another cable to connect. See if it helps.

Connect micro USB to the drone and USB to the Macbook. Turn on the Mac and launch Assistant 2 to the home page THEN turn on the Mavic with the RC turned off. Wait for a few seconds for the drone to complete its internal diagnostic checks and the drone will auto log into Assistant 2. Also ensure that you are signed into Assistant 2 with your DJI account details before turning on the drone. If that doesn't work I'd suggest deleting Assistant 2, ensure your MacBook FW is up-to-date on IOS, reboot the Mac, reinstall the latest version of Assistant 2 from DJI downloads then try again. If that doesn't work then over to DJI Support &/or Apple (if you're using a Mac).

I wasn't the original poster, but thanks VERY MUCH for these instructions.  I never knew how to do it, so I did all my updates via wifi.  Nice to have this as an alternate.  Your instructions worked perfectly.
