I am looking to purchase a CrystalSky for my Spark and have a few questions if anyone can help please:

Do all versions work with the Spark or just the 5.5 ?

I note the mount puts the CrystalSky forward of the controller, that looks like a good plan for the 5.5 but does that also work for the larger versions?

I note the device doesn't come with a charger, just a battery and charging base. Will the Spark Charger work or do I need to buy another ?

I have 5.5, but they all work. Mavic mount puts RC ahead of CS and is great, but it expensive.
You'll need a power supply for charger. I use 18 volt supply with phantom 3 plug.

I have a 7.85 HB Crystal Sky and it works perfectly with the Spark. Personally I did not like to use the Mavic mount and bought the one below. It is very solid, puts the screen in a comfortable position and is significantly cheaper than the Mavic mount.
The Spark charger does not work. On the Crystal Sky page of the DJI website you'll find a list of compatible chargers. But make sure the one you choose comes with a suitable AC cable. E.g. I took the 180 W P4 charger and it came without.

Can somebody confirm or deny if larger CS is able to connect to RC using 5GHz WiFi in Europe or OTG connection is needed?

Mystery to me! My 5.5 always logs on to my home router on 5ghz band. But doesn't see rc only sees rc on2.4. Could use otg, but don't like faff of connecting.

And another question... Can apps be sideloaded on CS? Considering buying one but need info upfront.

Yes, up to 20 third party apps can be installed. Concerning your WiFi question I believe that yes but have never tried it myself.

Another way to mount the CS to a Spark or Mavic

I have the 7.85 UB CS along with the Mavic/Spark Mount.  IMO its the best accessory  purchase I've made from DJI ever and that includes the various lenses for my I2.  With that said, if the Spark is your only DJI device then IMO the 7.85 UB CS is "overkill".  The cost is around $900 USD.
