Im using a samsung galaxy tablet to fly my phantom3 advanced.
I cannot take any pictures or record any video's. The record button sometimes is red but mostly goes grey.
Even when it is red and seems like its recording or taking pictures I have no idea where these pics or video's go to..
I am also finding it very awkward to update the firmware. Just cant understand how to do it...

Hi Zeplin34 I have had problems with my camera and done some troubleshooting but to no avail so it’s going in for repair, I would suggest you do I few troubleshoots and see how you get on, can I ask do you have an image on you SG tablet, follow some of the steps in my thread https://forum.dji.com/thread-136828-1-1.html

Have you checked that the SD card in the drone is not full?   I made this mistake once.

Oh god I'm not too sure now. Will have a look and let you know. It has to be the one that come with the drone I think. Is there any specific type you recommend..?

in the main menu of the app scroll down when click in the arrow lol

or in camera settings you ll see the option format Sd card

good evening. to be honest I think its the one that came with the drone. I have not changed it at any point. I believe I should try formatting it.How to do that is beyond me.

Thank you very much for the link. I have not tried it as yet. I will do it over the weekend and let you know how I get on... Unfortunately I only get the chance to fly over the weekend ( sunday ) as I work a fair distance away. Travelling gets me down.

Sorry... yes I do have the image on my tablet when flying.

Hi Ron, sorry for the late response. May I know what's the current status? Regarding the SD card formate, you can find it in Camera Settings. As for the recommended SD card, it supports Micro-SD cards with Class 10 grade or above and write speeds above 60 Mbps (Note the write speed). Please choose quality products.
