I can not connect the phone and the controller. I have installed the application but there is no interaction. dji phantom 3 pro

What phone are you using?

I know that with my Android I have to select the application to use when I plug in my controller. If I don't do that it just sits there.

I have the same issue, tried HP Slate 10 Android, iPhone X IOS, Samsung Android KitKat and can't get any of them to see the controller Tried numerous leads. Did you manage to sort this? I will say my iPhone connected once but now nothing and to top it all my controller just flashes red and beeps it will fly the craft but is not much use if I can't connect the phone.
