And for the info, if you have trouble with the login in after the update you might just need to re-configure your network settings, found in the settings after dragging down from the top of the display.
Just got a 2nd hand P4 in as new condition and the airframe is failing all update attempts (RC updated fine) have been trying via Assistant 2 and PC wont even reset to factory default, what am I missing here.. Batteries are at 100%

You're missing that this thread is for the P4Pro V2.0 plus controller not P4 issues.
Search for a existing thread that match the error you get or start a new thread and select the Phantom 4 section when making it.

Sorry to read the troubles. Could you read the current aircraft firmware when connecting with DJI Assistant 2? If yes, it is recommended to refresh the firmware and see whether it works.
Why has this already been taken off as sticky in the overall list for the Phantom?
It is more relevant than several of the other threads that keep hanging in there and not even shown up in the P4P listing makes it hard to find!
