I found a problem with my osmo+ gimbal head mounting.
It was fine yesterday but today somehow it broke.
I kept it in its casing as per normal, and only had a 5 hour drive last night. Never dropped it whatsoever.
Video of the condition is as follow:
Mounting condition
In operation.
Still works, but that wiggle.
Out of warranty by 2 months.
So my option is to send it for repair.
My location is in Malaysia.
Care to share how do I get it done?
Hi, thanks for reaching DJI Forum. We regret to know that your osmo is not working. Please send an email to support@dji.com for us to assist you. We're here to help. Thank you.
I have submitted email to the support team but still has yet to get any response.
So as warranty has expired so I guess why not explore a bit.
Thanks to this dismantling video:
So the problem I found to be the screws for yaw axis top cover came loose.
All 3 of them.
I just fastened them again, and now its working fine.
So, to the design team, this design flaw should be addressed in your future product.
I have submitted email to the support team but still has yet to get any response.
Sorry I'm so late in replying... Good job. Be satisfied (at least) that you saved lots of $$ and time. If you have any other problems, I'd recommend starting a chat session (after you've taken photos). This is solely based on my success with using that DJI support option. Sometimes you'll need to set aside some time as it can take a while if the Technician has to ask other team members for help.
