I have been flying commercialy with all of DJI's line up for the past 4-5 years. I have always used Apple products past year the Iphone X without one issue. With the lack of development I have grown bored of Apple Iphone and wanted to sell off all Apple for the new Samsung Galaxy S10. Spec wise, its amazing, such a great screen too for this. After spending time on the forums here, its clear that most people with Android compared to Apple experience problems with DJI's GO 4 App, crashing, dropped frames, disconnect, freezing.. However, most of these cases I came accross were on lower end cheaper Android phones. I also am aware that Samsung manipulates the OS a lot which can slow things down to.. Lot of people say that its just a memory intensive application and Androids/Samsungs work fine if you have a nicer phone and make sure you have nothing else running in the background.

Anyways, question for DJI before I switch. Are the latest Samsung phones tested as quickly as the Apple phones seem to be? Can you res assure me that they will be?

Anyone on here experience issues with the hottest Samsung phones and DJI GO?

Hi, we do appreciate your giving us an inquiry in regards to this situation before switching the mobile device. As of the time being, since it's an upcoming new model of Samsung our application is not yet compatible with this awesome mobile device. Our designated department hasn't been cascaded to us if the mobile device will be supported soon, however, if this mobile device would be tested in the future, we will add it the list of compatible devices for our DJI drones. We do appreciate your understanding. Please let us know if you have other concerns.

I'm interested as well - The S10s are out now, and are the flagship android device on the market.  There is no reason this shouldn't be a priority item on the DJI Go app compatibility list.

Hi. it's a huge disappointment, but dji go app crashes on Samsung s10+ immediately when I push "go to fly" button...  anyone have same issues?  solution ?

Hi there, we're sorry for the inconvenience. May we know what's the version of the APP? You may clear all caches or reinstall the App to see whether it helps. If it remains, please kindly offer the aircraft firmware version and the crash log (local file/DJI/dji.go.v4/LOG/CRASH) for analysis, thank you!

I feel like this is DJI way of making you by there $700 controller. My S10+ is getting ESC status errors when everything was working fine and I was told by technical support that is because my phone is unsupported and it's not linking up correctly with the go 4 app which is a load of crap in my mind. The new phones that just get released should be an absolute priority for DJI! I have had nothing but issues with Android devices with all their aircraft I am not a supporter of Apple products nor should I have to be when using a DJI product.

Totally  agree, flagship  smartphones shoud be in top priority ...
Controller is huge and heavyweight, when you take drone on action sports events  like freeride  in mountains  or hiking.

I can report that I have flown multiple times with my Inspire 2 and new Mavic. The app actually runs smoother and loads faster... Maybe because it's a faster phone.. It's nice having a bigger and brighter screen too. Another thing I discovered yesterday is that DJI does only use Android to run their enterprise drone apps and tablet software is android based apps.
