Hello,

I have a question about the Osmo Mobile 2 (I’m going to refer to it as the osm2 in this post). I know a fair amount about electronics and gimbals, since I’ve built a few of my own from scratch. I had an idea for the osm2, but I need to know the weight the motors can hold. Not the weight it can carry/move (or the capacity dji says the gimbal can hold) but i want to know how much weight the motor shaft itself can hold. I’m planning on modifying mine, and want to know how much I can pack onto the gimbal before something breaks. I know it’s made of plastic, so that's also something I’m keeping in mind.

I’ve also been looking for the osm2 motor model number or specs, because manufacturers sometimes rate their motors with ‘shaft capacity’ or something along the lines of that. However because DJI doesn’t want their consumers repairing their products when they can make money off of repairs, I can’t find any replacement motors I can use as a starting point to get that info.
Any info, ideas, or experience would be helpful!
