I'm getting everything updated for my Mavic Zoom Maiden Flight but incountered this. Why? DJI Assistant 2(Updates discontinued)

Hello, I'm trying to update my Mavic Pro using the above mentioned software, but it's not coming up. However it comes up on the older assistant software. ( I don't have both installed at the same time).

Can you please advise?

I've tried Assistant 2 for my Mavic Pro, and it says Wrong model.

So does that mean I have to stick to the discontinued Assistant app?

the first mavic air isnt on the new assistant. and mine needs calibrated, i recently bought it off a friend, who bought it years ago and has never been flown, this is my first drone.

I connected my drone at home to get a proper look around the DJI go 4 app and a message came up saying to head to DJI assistance as the vision sensors needed calibrated.. or words to that effect. so went to the assistant and my drone is not listed, i know its an old model but its brand new bought off a friend who never even took it out the box. could it just be that i had the drone sitting on the floor on my carpet?
