Overview:
Date: 2019.04.17
Aircraft Firmware: v01.00.04.00
DJI GO 4 App iOS: v4.3.16
DJI GO 4 App Android: v4.3.16
What’s New?
Added Dual Remote Controller mode (requires DJI GO 4 v4.3.16 or later).
Fixed issue: in some photos, the GPS information displayed was incorrect when viewed on a computer.
Fixed issue: the gimbal acted abnormally after completing a QuickShot Rocket.
Notes:
Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
Please note that update may reset various main controller settings, such as the RTH altitude and the maximum flight distance, to default settings. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update.
If the update fails, restart aircraft, remote controller, and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, and retry.
This is very strange. I booted up my Mavic 2 Zoom and it said it had a firmware update. So I did the update and it said it was successful. But when I looked at the about page none of the version changed.
What's going on DJI?
Just did the update on my M2Z using DJI Go 4.3.12 (iOS) without any issues. Took about 10 min in all. Have not been able to fly it yet. As stated earlier, 4.3.16 on iOS does not appear to be available yet.
Yes, i know. I expect this, but i can´t find any menue item in the hole menu-tree, showing this. I expect a checkbox for "Master" or "Slave"
Why DJI write about v4.3.16 and this version is nowhere in the web?

Take a look, your aircraft firmware version is new ;)
Does DJI recognise the image quality discrepancies comparef to the Phantom 4 pro (true resolution) and are you guys working on that so it can be fixed in future updates... I think there are a LOT of people with this question on there mind... Hope to hear from you guys ))
Really? Mine has always been 01.00.0400.
On the DJI post they have 01.00.04.00 I think that is a typo.
Oh I see the diffence. My controller was 0400 not the aircraft. That was 0300. You're correct. But still no app update.
Second update--- My android phone just updated DJI Go 4 app to .16 but not the Smart Controller. I guess we'll have to wait for that one.
A timely announcement; I was about to ask: does the Mavic 2 (with this or earlier update) fix the photography issues that the Mavic Pro has? I am thinking of upgrading but there is little point if the fundamental problems are still there.
Specifically:
Automatic exposure for spherical panoramas (which I use almost every flight) is badly broken; it over-exposes by 2 stops if one starts the sequence facing North, or by one stop if one starts with the camera pointing at the ground. Using manual to workaround involves guesswork from the above, at least one test exposure, several setup steps and then undoing the settings after taking the panorama. All of this rapidly eats up flight time.
Exposure bracketing (3 exposure) takes 3 photos but the first two have the same exposure.
Similarly, 5-exposure bracketing takes 5 photos but two have the same exposure.
The EXIF information (shutter speeds) recorded while exposure bracketing are nonsense .. brighter images show shorter exposure times.

Whoa dude!
it got folding legs and its smaller size is a huge advantage
Wait until fanboy comes screaming about how its better value now and cant be compared.
Well anyone who purchased a zoom with the same camera as the old Mavic Pro.
2 years old and paid an extra €300 for the privilege , they must be absolutely thrilled, what a deal that was .
I have seen some of the videos from zoom and it’s getting pretty close to the orignal Mavic , maybe another couple of FW updates it might get there .
Told ya. Illiterate ginger leprechaun is here to educate us.
Does he even aware that original Mavic Pro got no zoom ?
Go thank your parents for your great education level. Should’ve been aborted. But hey. Clowns like you are entertaining to tease.

Says the big mouthed yank, yes zoom that’s one thing I have seen very little of on videos around here, but remember the orignal MP has many more features it was €300 Cheaper.
I would say the best part of you is still in your fathers pants, because your all mouth and no trousers, you have nothing to contribute except to ridicule others who have made there decision to purchase their choice of craft.
It’s strange that one person can wear such a big chip on his shoulders that he feels the need to come here for no other reason than try to Demean others for what they purchased.
It’s very clear particularly from your recorded mileage , about two hours flying , you know very little about drones and less about people.
It funny and strange that in a thread about new FW, your only contribution was about the Mavic Pro.
Yet you own a second hand P4Pro and a Mavic that even dji has decided not to Put pro in its name.
It’s pretty clear your around here because you keep getting things wrong and trying to bring others down to your level.
“I'll bet your autopsy reveals your mouth was too big.
Could someone tell me if after I upgrade Mavic 2 Pro to the firmw. 400, I can downgrade to firmw. 300 if I want?
I have bad memories with my other drone (M.Air)
thks
