Updated the remote to the latest firmware since there was a message in dji go to update. I did the update through dji go and was prompted to reboot the remote after the update was complete. Once the remote fired back up it showed “disconnected “ in the app. I updated the firmware on the aircraft to the latest release and I downloaded the latest version of dji go. I can fly the drone but I can’t get the iPad connected to the remote. It looks like the USB port on the remote is disabled. Tried an android device.  Tried different cables. Downloaded dji go several times.  Nothing works.  Tried to reinstall firmware on the remote. Nothing works. Just seems like after the firmware update on the remote that the USB port went into limbo. Any suggestions out there?
