2 week with mini. It shoots awesome photos and videos. But the gimbal or whatever is just playing naughty. See I get shaky footage, jello footage and now today frequent jerk up motion of the gimbal.

I chased the DJI. They are not saying a thing about it so far. Very frustrating. I think soon I will request to have this one replaced as it seem most folks don't have issues like these.

They are also ignoring me with some issues, support is non existent.

All seems reated to the gimbal.    I’ve seen a few people complain about the jello/ripple isssue, but not the other two.

You definitely need to raise an official support request with dji.    I did that once with my spark and found support to be excellent (bricked during firmware update)

Did you Chance to Sport Mode when the gimbal want up?

With the 'Gimbal jumping up' problem, I have just learned there is an undocumented feature of the software from a video on YouTube, here: at 14:41  
If you touch the screen on your device, you can move the Gimbal up and down just by sliding your finger. If you didn't know this and were playing around with the screen, it could easily look like a fault.

I would recommend please try to do a Gimbal Calibration. Second, for the Jello effect on your footage. I would recommend please do a IMU calibration to isolate the issue. In addition, was there a strong wind when you flew your drone and recorded these videos? Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

I was well aware of the feature before the issue happened. My hands were not touch the screen. U see the upward motion is very quick. Much faster than the max gimbal speed i set it on (shown by me tilting it back down).

First two videos in 20kph wind. Last video had intermittent 30kph gust. I Calibrated IMU, gimbal many times. Still happens.

It could be the cause. My flight was in quite harsh afternoon sunlight.  But vibration also makes jello.

My retailer replaced it. New unit is not shaking. No sure about jello as it may be a bad choice of automatic shutter speed in brightly lit condition. I haven't tried flying in strong light yet.

Ok. So I am pretty sure mine is toast. Burning smell coming from the gimbal and the image feed is very dark.

after chatting with customer support they at first understood and then acted like it was fixed with 2nd mini they sent me. then they "hung up". what is going on with customer service?
