Hi Everyone,

I recently bought a mini a during one of the flights it gor crashed.
Luckily it had propeller guards and not much of a damage.
But since then I see the app saying Gimbal motor overload . Error 40003
Though it says error I do not see any issue with Gimbal my gimbal is rotating freely and I had done many flights after that .

There are 2 issues, which if I could get some help would be of much use.

    When i tilt sideways or turn upside down that sound goes away.
    This is kind of annoying when i am editing my videos. Is there a way to get rid of this ??
2) Gimbal motor overload that comes on at startup, stays on, but gimbal operates normally.
   I tried calibrating gimble but it gets struck on 20%.


Anyone faced similar issue(s) ??

You will need to have it repaired. Are the clips under the gimbal in the correct positions?

I have accidentally dropped just now and the sound went off now.
I dunno whether to be sad again for dropping or happy for getting rid of that sound :|
How much does gimbal replacement cost usually ??

If you had care refresh then you could just get a new or like new one for $39. But if you don't have it then i'm not sure if DJI can replace it because it is due to "pilot error". However, if you go to a store or try and replace it yourself thats a different story.

Try to move gimbal by hand to see if it movable if stuck try to move it back in place. Is it broken? If you can post picture this way we can see

Open a ticket.

Check the 4 tiny "rubber bands" that are the mounts for the gimbal. Perhaps one is broken or loose. Prop guards won't protect the camera gimbal.

4 tiny "rubber bands" seems to be okay but noticed a small crack behind the gimbal cam.
Is it ok to continue with the crack or better get it repaired ? how much does it cost for the repair .

I am no expert on this so better to wait for better advice. That looks like the main arm for the gimbal. I would just glue it back together if it feels loose. But then I am a DIY type ;-)

If it's broken all the way through, that could be your problem....or at least the cause.

I just glued it back. Don't use cheap glue, I used loctite 401 and it holds really well until the next crash. I crashed the second time and it broke in the same place, glued it back together and it holds. Now I've got the gimbal sun shade from Ali so I don't hit the gimbal if I crash again

Don't fly indoors. You shouldn't be crashing it all the time. I personally would get it fixed. If you have DJI refresh it's not expensive, i'm guessing you don't though.

Affirmative. I am a newbie and still learning but due to panic I crashed it first time outdoors.
Yesterday it slipped through my hand while inspecting the crash and that's when the sound went away.I will try to apply some glue and see if that works .
I don't have a refresh. Any idea how much does it cost without refresh ?
