Needless to say, when one looks at the videos and photos, the Drone photography just gets better and better. There really are quite a few excellent jobs.

Amazing how much tech has evolved and in such a short time

Most of the technological progress has indeed been good. For instance, in camera technology, the quality of captured video and audio is amazing nowadays, and in computing, graphical output and the performance of the devices is staggeringly great. However, some technological "evolutions" such as making stuff too dependant on Internet servers that could be shut down anytime, or bombing us with ads that are "tailored" (read: you were spied on) to you, are rather questionable IMHO and I don't consider them real progress.

But to stick with the forum topics, it is indeed amazing how much sharper and realistic the video captured by my Pocket 2 has become when compared to my 8mm analogue camcorder from the late 90s.
