Trying to download assistant 2, I can download the file but when I try to open it I A warning pops up that says  can't detect if it has malware or not and it will not open the file. There another way for me to access this app so that I can use it on my MacBook Pro

If the installation file is downloaded from the DJI official website www.dji.com or obtained through regular channels, you can disable the anti-virus software on your PC to install the DJI Assistant 2 software. After the installation process is done, you can now enable the anti-virus again. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I am contacting Malwarebytes asking how I can turn their software on and off on my MacBook Pro

I try to get help from Malwarebytes they are unresponsive so I have removed their software for my MacBook Pro completely I am on DJI official website I’ve downloaded the DGI assistant 2 package, when I click on it I still get this response, DJI plus assistant +2+4+ phantom +2.0.10.pkg Cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware. It will not open the app

Update. I was able to download the app and open it I plug my Phantom into my laptop logged into the website I have an oval graphic in the center of the screen indicating I need to plug it in which I have done it The oval graphic doesn’t leave the screen, leave the screen , does this mean that it doesn’t need to be updated? When I can I plug my iPad Air to the controller and start the software it loads and indicates that it’s ready to fly, should I assume that all software is updated? None of this is very intuitive I’m trying to learn every step the hard way it seems.

My original problem is with my phantom 2017 era in P  mode when it flies forward it goes about 15 yards at 5 miles an hour stops hovers for two seconds Then continues gets up about 5 miles an hour stops hovers for a second continues this just continues to happen, if I fly backwards everything is normal and the speed is a little over 20 miles an hour, this is never happened before and this is what prompted me to possibly think a software upgrade or to reset it back to factory settings Might be the fix but I can’t even do that. I am at a total loss it does fly  but not correctly. I hope someone has an idea of how to fix this

Go to System Preferences - Security - the General tab. Toward the bottom you can give your OK to install unrecognized software after you unlock the pane.

Some companies do not pay Apple for the privilege of being recognized so you have to go through this nonsense.

I believe I am successful in downloading the app on my laptop when I click on it and get a screen with the round oval with a USB plug indicating that it should be plugged into a laptop when I do that it goes to a blank screen and nothing happens there’s no logs listed, because I haven’t loaded anything into the account yet? This is not Intuitive.

I've never been able to transfer logs with the software. Although it syncs to DJI, I like to keep a copy on the computer. So I just hook the controller to the computer, turn on USB on the controller, & transfer the files by brute force so to speak.

I’m really hoping someone has had this issue and has a fix for it, I really have no idea why they were traveling in the forward direction slow to a stop and then continue at 5 miles an hour stop again continue at 5 miles an hour and stop again all the while with the control stick pressed firmly to the fastest position

I was able to upgrade my frame ware on my  phantom 4  but I still have the issue with forward motion. When moving forward it starts to speed up for about three seconds then comes to a stop For two seconds and then speeds up for three seconds comes to a stop then speeds up again for three seconds and comes to a stop, all the time I’ve kept the control stick to the full forward position. The only time it flies like it should  is backwards It will reach 24.5 miles an hour and stay there as long as I’m holding a stick completely backwards. It was working correctly in sport mode but now sport mode is behaving the same way. I hope somebody’s got an idea why this is happening
