It seems I cannot record to dual SD cards with my Sony A7iii with the new Ronin RS2. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello there, thank you for your inquiry. Have you checked the settings on the Camera about the Rec. Media Settings: Prioritize Rec. Media  
Please check if you are using the correct memory card on both slots.

This is what happened when I plug it in, can record from the cable but greys out dual media.
Yes, my cards are fine as well, this was not an issue with my Ronin S either.

Anything more DJI?

I have the same problem. I have tried with the Sony A7IV and it works without problem, but with the Sony A7III it does not. I think that with an update from DJI, the problem would be fixed.

I have found the problem. The problem is due to the connection cable, you have to choose the one that is designed for Sony, since the other is the same, but it is not for Sony.

There are two cables you can use to connect to sony: usb-c and multi.
And both have the limitations. I.e. with multi camera thinks it is connected to the remote and with usb-c camera thinks that it is connected to PC.
So, each type of cable has its own limitations and features.
Technically, it is not DJI, it is sony hardware limitation. And it is also documented somewhere.
