Yesterday, I discovered by accident the effects of different propeller configurations on our quadcopters and I'd like to share it with you. My drone is a 5 inch diy quadcopter with a mounted GoPro Session 5 camera. I always noticed bad performance on my drone once I add the gopro camera. The camera is about 72-74g. The propeller I've been using is Ethix S3 and it works great without the gopro camera. It looks like it's too small and weak once the gopro camera is added. I still have the DAL Cyclone props when I first started fpv hobby. I tried it and I was very shocked to not notice any problems. It was floatier which is nice unlike Ethix S3 props, once I lower throttle, it goes down real quick. You can tell it's heavy. So my conclusion would be, Ethis S3 for quads whose weight is 600-650g and a similar high pitched props like DAL Cylone T5047c for drones whose weight is 650-715g.
Anyways, here's the video where I was testing my 2019 DAL Cyclone props. I was just cruising my drone and it looks like it's been stabilized in post but it's not. It's very smooth. Did few trick moves too. I hope you'll enjoy it. Have a great day my fellow pilots! ❤️
I forgot to mention that when I was cruising my drone close to the ground, I was actually imagining the ground as the ocean waters
Me too, I can't see it anymore. I'll edit my main post. I am not sure why it happened. It's happened twice. First time it happened was like 2-3 months ago and then this.
