Well. After the release of the dysfunctional mini 3, dji should step back and get rid of some of their engineers.. Partly due to dji’s lack of response for the total disaster of the mini 3. My neighbor let me fly his mini 3, and I could not see the screen on his upgraded remote controller. Do not spend the extra $$ for the controller as the screen brightness is horrible. Such a disappointment. Then you also have range issues, battery overload. I see dji losing market share in the future. Too often I see on here where people struggle to get answers to issues that should not BE AN ISSUE!
Not engineers but the managers. Suppose a manager ( who knows nothing about the technology) disapproves of a part chosen by the engineer. In that case, the latter has to fall back and use a cheaper (read less performant /durable/reliable) part.
" teardown of the Mavic Air 2, DJI's newest lower-end model, is priced at about $750. By estimate, disassembly revealed that the vehicle is made of components worth around $135."
The above statement is a consequence of the manager's decisions and approvals.
Consequently, their revenue rose to $261billion, but in the long run, it will affect the company's most valuable asset, its reputation.
