We’ve gone from a forecast for a nice week to a week of rain and wind again.   I was heading to an old windmill on Monday,  left the house in sun and 30 minutes later it was dark and lashing down.  The forecasts here have never been so incorrect.

Good to see you're still at work with the drone. I got to the hilltops yesterday and all I could see was the inside of a cloud

Hmmm, now I remember what we call Meteorologists - Weather Guessers.  

Weather has been a bit different here also.  Seems like more thunderstorms this season.  Florida is known as the Sunshine State but it is also the site of the most lightening strikes in the U.S.

Florida sees more than its fair share of hurricanes.  On the left coast California doesn't see hurricanes but then they have almost daily earthquakes and many forest fires.  So for sure weather is a bit unpredictable this season.

That would be most unfortunate.  NY already has enough problems.  

Latest hurricane center info projects to come ashore in Rhode Island and then up through Massachusetts.  So maybe NY city will dodge the bullet from Henri.

I saw Cuomo had a press conference on what he was doing to protect the state,  but I was hard asleep so I missed the details.

Other than the Hamptons, New York dodged the bullet.  Due to his alleged indiscretions and his subsequent resignation today is Cuomo's last day in office.  Had moving vans at the Governor's mansion at the end of last week.

Yeah, it seems like New York has had several recent controversial Governors.  But then again New York is not alone in it's political figures having issues.
