I had a call my the local dealer and he advised me to my question " Is the standard RC supplied with the Mavic 3 on OS2 or OS3" and he says that Dji advised them that the standard RC when connected to the mini 2 works on OS2 and when it binds to the Air2S and Mavic 3 it works on OS3. Can anyone confirm if this is true or a load of B**.

The spec on the DJI website originally said that controller is O2.  But I see now for the UK its been updated. Personally I find this hard to believe as there hasn't been a firmware update for the controller.

HUH, so then it must be true. Wonder if there is a way to test that or do we just have to take their word on it.

Just like magic. It’s now o3 capable.  No software update required.

Yes it was always that way, lots of stuff going unexplained with RC’s @dji .
