I crashed my 2 month old Mavic Air 2 and purchased a new body to use with my old RC. It arrived and everything works great except the zoom feature in video mode. It worked fine in my first unit wiith this remote. I uploaded all firmware updates and everything is current. I've tried everything I know or can find online to get it working.

Can anyone help with my missing zoom feature?

Can you please try to connect your aircraft and RC to the DJI Assistant 2 software that can be downloaded to your PC and please update/refresh the firmware to see if the issue perists? In addition, you may also try to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if there are changes. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

Make sure that you're in 4K Zoom mode or lower. There is 4K Wide mode that has no zoom. Zoom during photo mode isn't possible.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble. To shoot in Zoom mode please try the following:

After entering the recording mode (except for “4K WIDE”), the zoom rate icon appears on the right side of the image transmission page (as indicated by the yellow frame.)

1. Click the zoom rate icon, the camera will zoom in integer times, 1X, 2X, 3X, or 4X.
2. Hold the zoom rate icon, and then drag up and down to realize the Dolly Zoom effects in 0.1X increments.
3. When using the RC-N1 remote controller, press the Fn button and then toggle the gimbal dial to zoom in or out. When using the DJI Smart Controller, toggle the camera settings dial on the right. The zoom rate is the same as that in “2”, and the increment is also 0.1X.

If the issue persists, please provide us a screen recording showing the issue so we can check. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

The 1x zoom icon doesn’t appear at all, in any of the video or photos settings. Even by holding the FN button and scrolling the gimbal wheel.  The app says “zoom not supported in current shooting mode”

Once you select video you need to go to the bottom and click on the 4K RES & FPS. Then you select the Res & FR you want. There is a seperate 4K Zoom selection which needs to be selected which is different then normal 4K. I have the same MA2 and that's how it works. There is no zoom in photo mode.

I couldn’t see my FPV so I went into settings and you click the setting that asks if you want to reset the “beginners flight tutorial “ then during the tutorial it tells you to re-sink your drone by pushing a pin hole button on the side of your drone until the light turns green next to that little button. Once you do that it will work
