I recently brought DJI Mini 2 and the photos (both JPEG and DNG) look out of focus/blurry. Any helo would be appreciated.

Kindly please try to gently wipe the lens of your camera with a clean cloth to remove some moisture if there is any. You may also try to uninstall and reinstall the app on your mobile device to restore the camera settings to default. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

Thank you for getting back to me.

All my photos are out of focus and the videos  although shot in 4K isn't in 4K.

I will do as you suggest and go out today to take more footage/photos and will keep you posted.

I only brought the drone couple weeks ago.

If I uninstall and reinstall the app, would all the information (such as date the drone and the remote controller were registered, the flight data, etc.) be deleted or it is saved under my account/email?

Here's an image taken today after cleaning the lens on the gimbal. I haven't yet uninstalled the app as want to see if this works. The image still looks out of focus as does the video. Let me know if you agree and then I will uninstall and reinstall the app. Thanks.

If you uninstall the DJI app on your mobile device, please make sure to sync or enable the auto-sync flight records to avoid the flight records from being deleted. In addition, as I check this video that you provide, it doesn't show any issues at all and the footage was perfect! Would you please try to use a different computer that capable of playing a 4k video or might as well try to use a different media player and check again? Please keep us posted. Thank you.

I’m having blurry pictures also on my Mavic 2 Zoom, which I’ve recently updated as well as my Smart Controller…
Those blurry pictures are terrible, it looks like the focusing was not working. Never have experienced things like that and I’m flying since 2020…

Today I contacted DJI Support and the only thing that they said is to clean the lens (already done obviously), check if inside the lens there is condensation (there is no), and reset the camera settings.
If the reset of the camera settings are not solving the issue, it will be necessary to send back the drone to repair.

Today I changed 4 things and the pictures are perfect, no more probelems!

Here are things I’ve changed:
1. reset the camera parameters
2. Add a circular polarizer
3. Disabled AFC
4. Used a different battery (according to the previous owner of the drone, one of the battery may be defective)

I’ll investigate furthermore to see what was exactly the thing that was the source of solution.
