I own the Sony FX3 and the DJI mic.

Such a FANTASTIC COMBO.

It’s ALMOST perfect… almost.

You guys should make an adapter that goes from the transmitter to the Sony Hotshoe.

Instead of having to use a 3.5 cable to do this connection, you could just use the multi-function shoe.

Please show the developers this.

Is it already in development?

I for one would pay $100 bucks for something like this.

Could that work for the Canon Powershot Pro hotshoe just as well?

Well I think they could do it for the new Canons.

Like the R3 and the R5C.

But Canin doesn’t play nice with other companies. And DJI and Sony seems to have some kind of partnership.

They use Sony sensors. And they allow Sonys Menu system on their Transmitter. So I think it’s a better chance of having an adapter for the Sony cameras.

Now I am not bias. I shoot on the c79, R3, and the Sony FX3

But look at both companies. This seems to be a no brainer.

Now, I have messaged Sony about this as well. Their Twitter page, their support staff. And DJI supports email as well as this forum.

I think we need to give more awarness to this suggestion as it would be incredible.

I received mine this week... and I have the Sony a7S iii and I was thinking exactly the same... and in a way that could be possible to plug in both directions... like the way I put in the picture...

Would be so fantastic to have the DJI Mic unit just seemleesly plug into the MI Hotshoe. Man.
