Can a Galaxy J6 be used with a Phantom 2?  If so, can someone please post an idiot's nguide as to installation?

The straight P2 is not a camera drone, so no, it won't work.  If you mean the Vision series P2, your Galaxy J6 likely will not work because it's too modern.  The P2 Vision series was released 8-9 years ago.  You need an older mobile device such as the Nvidia Shield K1.  It's been discontinued but you can still find them on eBay.  Good luck
