I tried to pair my Osmo mobile 2 with my iPhone 12 and getting error message. How do I reset the Osmo mobile 2 so that it forgets the previous phone (iPhone 7) ?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble that this has caused. The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is an earlier model of the DJI Osmo mobile series and thus, your latest iPhone 12 mobile device is not compatible with the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. Kindly please try to use a lower version of your mobile device or you may check the latest Osmo mobile product on our store website https://store.dji.com/ . As a new member of the forum II was not permitted to start a new thread, hence I'm adding my question to a thread that has an issue that resembles mine.

I have not used my Osmo Mobile 2 for a couple of years, so I've deleted the DJI Go app and downloaded the Mimo app to my iPhone 11 Pro.

The Osmo Mobile 2 connects to the Bluetooth of my phone, but the app is not able to connect/find the gimbal. I've turned off the Bluetooth on both my iPad and on my Mac, restarted the app as well as forgotten and reconnected the gimbal Bluetooth connection.

What to do? Thanks in advance for any help :-)

The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 will only work with DJI GO and it is not compatible with DJI Mimo app.

Also, the said mobile device is not recommended for compatibility and reliability purposes of the app. For reference, you can check the list of recommended mobile devices for the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 here: (https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-3).

As per the DJI website pertaining to Osmo Mobile 2, and info about what devices are supported by the DJI Miimo app,  the iPhone 11 Pro is supported (see attached screenshot)
