All pics from 30cm distance roughly.

It looks a little soft to me, but it's tough to tell without the full-resolution pictures.  I wouldn't be too concerned with exactly 30cm distances (personally).  I would be more concerned as to whether the slight defocus affected the picture overall, as it seems to with some.  If you take any "test" photos, I would recommend getting a few at slightly longer distances to see if it seems soft at longer distances.

It looks like the focus is just behind your subjects, but nothing spectacular.
And I would mainly focus (pun intended) on stuff you are likely to shoot with an action camera.
Which is probably further away most of the time.
That is how I would approach it.
