I recently bought a refurbished mavic mini from an online dealer. It is still on the way and I was planning to buy the care refresh plan once it arrived. However, I realised the actual drone has been discontinued officially and that stock is low, so I was wondering if I bought the plan and crashed my drone, would I actually be able to get a replacement using the plan?

Oh okay thanks. SO your saying if the refurbished drone (which is brand new to me) was in a care plan in its first 'life' i could buy the plan but then not be able to use it? Also what would happen then if I had the plan, crashed the drone, and wanted to replace it but there was none in stock because the drone is discontinued?

Sorry for the confusion. DJI Care Refresh can be bound to your DJI product when it meets one of the following criteria:
· Brand new and un-activated product;
· Aircraft or gimbal activated within the last 48 hours;
If the product does not meet the above conditions, please apply for video verification. Once approved, you will be receiving an email notification to purchase DJI Care Refresh. In any case, there will be accident happens to your drone, you can still send the device to our facility and still take advantage of replacement coverage of your DJI Care Refresh. Hi, just want to extend the context of this question, if my mini was purchased some time back but I would like to get care refresh now since I started picking up the drone flying again.  Could I still "try" get the care refresh with video verification?  Does the video verification cost anything?
