Why wasnt there a warning about the firmware update before i bought the drone.
My phone should have worked when i ordered it but the update happened while the drone was being shipped so now i cant fly without spending hundreds more for a different phone?

Do you have an older phone lying around?  An Android device running even version 6 or 7 would run the software.

Which mobile device do you have?  It may still run the DJI Fly App just not be optimized for it.
