Is there any adapter to mount Osmo Action 3 on Osmo Mobile 5 gimbal?
I know OA3 has great stabilization, but I'd wish to use smartphone and OA3 as alternates on my OM5 gimbal and I look for adapter to do so.
Thank you for any help, links to adapters would be great.

Hi, tryfan. Thanks for reaching out. The DJI Osmo Action series cannot be used with the DJI Osmo Mobile series devices. The main reasons are as follows:
1. The DJI Osmo Mobile series gimbal holding structure is specially designed for mounting mobile devices in the form of mobile phones. However, the DJI Osmo Action series products do not meet the DJI Osmo Mobile series hardware mounting requirements (weight, height, and width), which cannot meet usage experience.
2. When it comes to stabilization:
The DJI Osmo Mobile series adopts mechanical gimbal technology, while the DJI Osmo Action series adopts electronic image stabilization (EIS) technology.
These two technologies aim to achieve image stabilization. To obtain stable image effects, you can enable the Osmo Action 3’s HorizonSteady and RockSteady functions.
Ultimately, we have no official adapters for such connections, and we cannot guarantee performance when used at the same time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding and support.

I like this concept but my gimbals are no compatible (yi dedicated gimbal and iSteady X - just too small).

I bought Hohem iSteady 4 Pro in September to be used as gimbal with my action cameras and can highly recommend it.
From before I was familiar with Hohem since I have iSteady 2 Pro that I loved, but 4 have usb-c charging, quick release + fits bigger (newer) action cameras. My old 2 only fit Osmo Action and smaller cameras + took long time to charge.

Like mentioned before, it can handle rain, really easy to setup with phone for timelapse/motionlapse and can easily be fitted to heavy tripod to handle strong wind.

Also it can be used as powerbank for your camera, giving you many hours of batterylife and you can even charge your phone with it.

Theese 3 clips is from the day I got mine. Would say it is almost impossible without a gimbal.

When do you need a gimbal for an action camera: moving time-lapse and bad lighting conditions. Good sound is more important

The light at the top of the gimbal is the trakker.  Something like that on an action cam gimbal that would be something.  A pure action cam gimbal is better.  motion laps  A to  B 1h is possible without any apk

There is also a few things I would like to see on a gimbal in future.
