On a HOT afternoon I got a b in my Bonnet to go for a ride in the forest I had been scouting out recently.
The forest was here, I swear, but has been logged and all that remains is what you see - hardly a tree - not much. Recent rains had eroded the roads and I was in no mood to pick the bike up iff I were to have a spill, so I just scouted around using my trusty mini 2 and my action 3. I was visited by some fleeting cyclists coming down from somewhere - it is easy to carry a mountain bike over erosion but try it with a 200kg motorcycle.
Anyway it was an interesting afternoon.
Interesting landscape views Droffarc. It's a shame the rains eroded the road out so much. Man those cyclists came out of nowhere and just blew by you. All in all still a nice afternoon adventure.

My broken clavicle finally healed and I finished up my physical therapy so I got back to scuba diving this last weekend. I really missed making bubbles and it was great to get back at it.

I wish I could say the same about my (both) clavicles - still have large lumps which are uncomfortable even with a fairly heavy backpack - would not even try a scuba tank -however in the water it may be different.
I am glad to hear that you are bubbleing agian - pics please but take it easy, you need to get fit again.
Not really for the right equipment, but unfortunately my current motorcycle is more road oriented (actually it is a commuter). With taller suspension and a bash plate/radiator guard I would take on that road easily
Indeed very little by way of trees.
While the drone does give an indication, it is always better to walk the gnarly bits to get a better idea of what traps my lay in waiting

Not somewhere you'd want to get into difficulties, for sure.

The first dive back I took it slow and easy as I was a bit worried about the weight on my shoulders. Once in the water it was no issue. I'm doing short dives while increasing the time each day but slowly. I know better than to overdo it.

Thanks Droffarc. It really is good to get back in the water. I think that is what motivated me to push hard through the rehabilitation period.
Nice video, you got the motorbike footage well stabilized although those roads don't look like the easiest ones to ride. I also liked your choice of background music in this clip Overall, looks like your afternoon was one worth spending

No problem, I witnessed yesterday myself how much stabilization can upgrade the footage quality. I was on a 20 km (12.43 miles) bicycle trip with the Pocket 2 and a cheap, simple action camera, and it did get occasionally bumpy. The Pocket 2's footage completely obliterated the action cam's footage in comparison. when it came to sharpness and stability. Really shows how much difference it can make to spend some more money for a quality camera.
