New DJI owner, been flying other drones for a while.  I took the Air2S out today, flew once for a minute when it first arrived but this is the first I have really tried it out.

My only regret is not having purchased a DJI sooner.  Flight control is very easy and handles well, functions are great.  Here is my issue - I recorded a few videos which I am having trouble playing back due to the codec. I did download VLC and PotPlayer, and they will play there but they look bad and run slow.  There are two files however that are a different format somehow, and they are both Mastershots videos.  They play no problem in Windows Media Player, and the color and depth look like I expected them to.

What am I doing wrong?

Connect the Air 2S with the DJI Fly app and check the video record setting, most users is selected H264, if you selected H265 then some player need download the code to play for it.

Thanks, I will check that setting.

So I was in the camera settings today, seems like h264 is only available if I turn off the DLog color setting.

Dlog is for editor using video editing software to adjust the colors, usually we are not set to DLOG.

Hi there. D-Log is a greyscale mode created for post-production as D-Log provides a higher dynamic range, more details, contrast, and sharpness to offer more color editing freedom. H.264 should be available with the following resolution and FPS.

I also bought an AIR 3s a few days ago, which I am very happy with, but I can't set it to h264, and VLC player doesn't play the video (h265) normally. It was easy to set it up with the mini 3. Do I have to go to the AIR 3s pro and look for the video settings there?

should have asked this in the first reply what color profile are you using?

Normal. Now I know what's wrong...I have a very slow computer, only 4 GB of RAM. I need a new one.
