I am experiencing an issue with my DJI wireless mics. I couldn't find the support channel for this product so trying here.

One of the transmitters appear to be overwriting all files when left in continuous recording mode. When I connect to a computer via USB, instead of seeing 5 files for example, 30 minutes each, I just see the most recent recording (1 file only).

Is this a specific setting? Or what would be causing this?

Strangely though, I can see that the available space left on the mic transmitter built in storage is reduced..


This is only happening with one of the mics in the set of two.


Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi there, sorry for the issue you encountered. Just to double confirm, the audio files are not showing up on the TX, but it seems that the audio has been recorded as the available space is reduced, right?
Could you please try to connect the TX to another computer and check again to see if the files will show up? Besides, please try to record again and double-check if the issue will recur. Please keep us updated.

one of the transmitters just wiped all of the files off the device after a day recording - opened up - 0 files, definitely didn't format the transmitter, after definitely having the auto record feature running and visually seeing the record light on in the video.. Got home to realise I had the mic port disabled on the camera, and I was like, no problems, backup on the device - plugged in - 0 files.. Has been recording files since discovering no issues..  Now I literally need to do a re-over testimonial for a client and I want to crawl down a hole and you know what.  My fear is there is a faulty sector on the drive and when its hit it, the device has formatted the drive or something in device.  Can I please get confirmation of what scenario would cause a full wipe.  Tried using a data recovery piece of software, it was unable to find any hidden or deleted files.

The same thing happened to me. I do not know why this happened but it is concerning. The recordings were one-off's and can not be re-recorded since they were event specific. How can I avoid having this happen again? [This had nothing to do with space as there was only a few seconds worth of test audio stored on it beforehand. The audio content being recorded was short (roughly 2 minutes max each), and we did roughly 5 recordings, all of which are lost except for the last one.]
