Hey guys,

I just came back from a trip with the dron eover the ocean when I realizes that all files on the SD card are size 0 and I cant open them any more. This means > 50gb of data seems to be lost (not only from the last flight but of a 2 months timeframe)

I am still clueless how this could even have happened. Any ideas on this? I did not crash the drone or anything.
Also on the 0 byte files: any idea if they can be recovered?

Hi, blauinger. Thank you for reaching out. What SD card you're using? Were you able to play the files from the RC?

You always need to stop the video before you power off the drone.
Have you been doing that?

its a Samsung Evo Plus u3.
RC wouldn't play the files too. Same issue unfortunately.

hard to say now. ;-) Usually I do but I might have forgotten. Still it seems weird that all files are affected instead of just the last recording?

Thank you for the reply. This is the only Samsung EVO under the Recommended microSD Cards of Mini 3 Pro.
If the files aren't playing with the DJI RC as well, files might not be saved or corrupted. Please try to use one of the microSD Cards from the list above and check if the issue persists.

I have had a similar issue with my Action 3, recording splits, second file (first split) failed, and shows 0 bytes on SD card, attempting to play on action cam or PC from SD card shows an error, lost a LOT of critical files and am seriously considering dumping DJI and switching to Go Pro.. cannot get any help at all

Can you explain with more detail what you are trying to say?
The meaning isn't coming through.

VERY FRUSTRATING...Had a MAVIC 2 PRO and lots of experience and no issues...just finished a two day trip, lots of beautiful FOOTAGE and my SD CARD Sandisk High Endurance 128 is ZERO (0).

Has anyone been about to recover such files?
