DJI AIR 3 FLIGHT TEST REVIEW — Ultimate Drone for 2023?

It may be “ultimate” for about 2-3 months then they’ll roll out a new one with slightly “upgraded” features.  Based on DJI marketing saying this will be the ultimate of 2023 is a big claim likely to be wrong in just a short time.

Well if you look at his sample image comparison it doesn't seem any better than the Mini 3 Pro.

what will be first Mini 4 or Air 3 s how do you think?

Having just watched as few comparison videos. it seems the photo quality of this is the same or slightly worse than the Mini 3 so I dont think we'll see a Mini 4 any time soon now,    at least not one that improves the camera.

Definitely seems like a hybrid of the Mavic 3 standard and the mini 3 pro with less camera quality.  I’ll stick with the mini 3 pro.

For me to fly legally here in the UK I need to be 250g unless I fly a million miles away from everything so I too wont be buying.

does it have EU certification? anyone knows?

Looking at the few samples, Images are same however the edge sharpness is better than mini 3 pro.

Main advantage is in the video shooting modes.

I want to know more about the controller

That edge issue seems mostly resolved when you apply lens correction.  

For me the Mi3Pro is.

I think that will happen next week or the week after, since the mason starts 5 September and I want to capture it without the scaffolding.

You could setup a waypoint and make a series of flights over the day/week and make a long term hyperlape.

The Air 3 is better in comparison photos,deeper richer tones and contrast.
Your too hung up on the Mini 3 pro.What about one of the biggies,no fan.
That alone prevented me from getting the mini 3 pro

You forget that in the U.K. air3 has to stay away from everything and everyone by 150m in all directions.

He is, but still it takes too much time to go there every day for a flight (and I think that would be needed to make an interesting timelapse when the mason is doing his job)

And I have been thinking about it. Drone videos are (at least mine) not popular at all.
So I figured I could better put my free time into the music videos, since they tend to be more popular.
That is one more reason why the drone moved down the ladder of priorities.
